Mo Bobat appointed England and Wales Cricket Board performance director |

Mo Bobat was appointed as the England and Wales Cricket Boards (ECB) execution director for mens cricket.
He will work closely with mens head coach Chris Silverwood and selector Ed Smith.
Will take more than David Parsons who left the post from July.
He said:Im delighted and honoured to be appointed functionality manager, at what is an exciting time for English cricket.
I am excited about working closely with Chris Silverwood and Ed Smith, and in doing this, supporting the performance demands of our England teams and moving us closer to achieving our goal of being the most respected team on the planet.
Creating strong relationships with our own counties to improve the size and quality of our talent pool will be overriding. I aim to make sure that our highest players get individualised support and experiences.
It is a hugely exciting part and the vision is that the potency of our our high-performance system delivers deliberate and sustained success throughout all formats.
The 36-year-old studied sports control and science and is also in the process of finishing his Masters in wearing directorship.
He combined the ECB in 2011 and was encouraged to the participant identification lead of England men. He has helped detect future gamers also has developed a strong link with the England team selection throughout the last few decades.
Running director of cricket Ashley Giles said:The position of performance manager is a crucial post in the creation of our long-term plan for elite performance. Mo demonstrated by his wisdom and expertise he has the attributes to carry us forward.
He is going to be responsible for differentiating our greatest potential players and top programmes which will bridge the gap between county and global cricket assisting us to provide powerful, respected and inspirational England players and teams.
