Vuelta a Espana leader Primoz Roglic expanded his advantage on Los Machucos as fellow Tadej Pogacar over a summit end won point 13.
29, team Jumbo-Visma’s Roglic, stands two minutes 25 minutes before Spain’s Movistar rider Alejandro Valverde together with eight phases of the race remaining.
Pogacar, of UAE Team Emirates, leaps to third overall after he and Roglic raced clear on the barbarous 6.8km final climb.
