England Ashes stars to find out what team they will play for in The Hundred in early October

When England’s Test players are one of those to find out which team they will play for the selection procedure for The Hundred will likely get underway.
Each of those eight teams – based in Manchester, Leeds, Nottingham, Birmingham, Cardiff, Southampton and 2 at London (Lord’s and the Oval) – can receive their selection of some red-ball contracted participant.
The machine usually means a tricky selection for your group, whose catchment area may see Jonny Bairstow and Joe Root playing everywhere if they choose to select Headingley Ashes Test hero Ben Stokes because their Evaluation representative, and also includes Durham.
Teams without a contracted player within their field will be able to choose from elsewhere and, the rest will be allocated for their area after each group has one Exam player.
Each team will also have the option to negotiate and pick two’icon’ players who’ve been playing with county cricket in their catchment area.
The principal player draft, which will be televised on Sky Sports, takes place on October 20 and a random draw will decide the order of choice.
This draft will operate in a spider arrangement, or so the team will select in the round that is next – .
Following The Draft each group will have the chance for a closing’Wildcard’ pick, which won’t be made until the Vitality Blast of next year, giving actors a last chance to secure a group for The Hundred.
Sanjay Patel, managing director of this Hundred stated:”The men’s participant Draft will be a historic moment for the game, with fans able to determine which world-class players will be representing their staff from The Hundred.
”We’re set to have eight fantastic, equally matched new cricket teams which will inspire new and existing lovers.”
11 venues have been recognized to host matches in the Women’s Contest.
Although the Leeds franchise may play games in York Cricket Club and South Northumberland Cricket Club, bristol, Taunton, Worcester, Chelmsford, Northampton, Beckenham, Derby, Leicester and Hove are all county places.
The player choice format is different to the men’s contest, with every team capable of sign two players in the central contract list of the recent England Women – .
Stage 2 of the participant selection process (October 1-May 30) will then see each group sign their remaining 13 players from across three distinct player pools – the rest England Women’s centrally contracted players, both overseas players and domestic players.
Southampton Women’s head coach Charlotte Edwards explained:”It is really exciting that we’ll have an open market approach and that all of the teams will probably be recruiting their own players to the very first time. It shows exactly how the women’s game has evolved and evolved.
”I know I can not wait to start building our group and I’m sure for the gamers it’ll be a really interesting procedure.”
